Description of Work:
 
Project was awarded to Reliable Builders, Inc. to construct a 6,000 square foot free standing single story building for an outpatient clinic at Naval Hospital, Guam primarily to provide medical services to the Guam Community for war veterans.
 
Design and construction is a DOD Joint Venture with the Department of Navy. The building is pre-designed by Sherlock Smith and Adams, Inc. (SSA, Inc.) from Alabama, U.S.A. The design-build portion for the construction of storm drainage, access road and parking area is provided by EMPSCO, a local design firm.
 
The new facility includes a new clinic with a reception room, waiting area, exam rooms, treatement rooms, tele-health rooms, a conference room, administrative offices, storage rooms, a kitchen/lounge, restrooms, electrical/mechanical spaces, access/road improvements, 37 parking slots, a storm drainage system, security fencing, a building generator set and a controlled access gate.
